Maximus' Xpress-Check is a highly secure, self-service facility that enables a customer to requisition for and receive personalized cheque books instantly from the cheque book dispensing terminals/kiosks (i.e. terminals), as per the norms of the bank. The bank can use this system to issue cheque books on-the-spot from any of its terminals in the network.

The controller software of Xpress-Check performs online authorization and verification of customer details. The personalization details and number of cheque leaves issued in each instance are dependent on the business rules framed by the bank. The system prints the MICR details, branch name, account number, name of the account holder and any other personalized data using the MICR toner laser printer, which is part of the cheque book dispenser.

The application maintains a complete database of all the transactions performed as well as the alerts and critical messages forwarded. Banks and other user organizations get a wide range of reports end of day. This is in addition to the information related to the terminal configurations and transactions performed, which is available on a real-time basis.

It can also be used by the bank to print the cheque books at the branches for their customers.
